On a Sunday afternoon, October 12, 2014, Zoungo Sou-Oud, a 34-year-old Asian man, was at his job at a car wash in Newark's West Ward. His life was unexpectedly cut short when a gunfight broke out near his workplace. Sou-Oud was not involved in the altercation but tragically became an innocent victim caught in the crossfire.
