In the late hours of a Friday night in Newark, New Jersey, the life of 27-year-old Jose Colon was tragically cut short. On April 6, 2018, at approximately 10:45 p.m., the sound of gunfire echoed through the 100 block of Parker Street in the city's North Ward. When police arrived at the scene, they found Colon suffering from gunshot wounds.
