In the pre-dawn hours of a Friday in March 2017, the life of Quinzel Ward, a 31-year-old man from Irvington, New Jersey, was tragically cut short on a street in Newark. The incident occurred around 3:41 a.m. on the 100 block of Court Street, where Ward was fatally shot. When law enforcement arrived at the scene, they found him suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 4:00 a.m.
