In the late hours of a spring evening in Newark, New Jersey, the life of 30-year-old Marselis Uwe G. Wilson was tragically cut short. On May 26, 2018, reports of gunfire echoed in the vicinity of Nevada and Court streets at approximately 10:15 p.m. Responding officers found that Wilson had sustained gunshot wounds.
