In the early hours of February 27, 2021, Jose Miguel Medero, a 51-year-old Hispanic male, was found shot while in his vehicle in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Patrolling officers from the New Brunswick Police Department discovered him in the vicinity of Seaman Street and Remsen Avenue at approximately 1:18 a.m. Medero had sustained a fatal gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.
