In the evening hours of November 2, 2021, a burst of gunfire shattered the night in a New Brunswick, New Jersey neighborhood, leaving a man fatally wounded. Lorenzo Hill Staten, a 32-year-old man from the neighboring township of Franklin, was found by responding police officers at approximately 8:12 p.m. in the vicinity of Seamen Street and Remsen Avenue.
