In the city of New Brunswick, New Jersey, a violent encounter on March 1, 2014, tragically cut short the life of 30-year-old Rahim Fuqua. That Saturday afternoon, Fuqua was at his home on Seaman Street when he was targeted by a group of men. Despite being armed with a handgun, it is not believed that Fuqua fired his weapon during the altercation. He sustained critical injuries in the shooting and was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his wounds two days later, on March 3, 2014.
