In the late evening hours of a Sunday in New Brunswick, New Jersey, the life of Markel Williams, a 28-year-old man, was tragically cut short. On June 4, 2023, at approximately 10:54 p.m., the sound of gunfire pierced the night in the vicinity of Throop Avenue and Delavan Street. When police officers arrived at the scene, they discovered Williams suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
