In the city of New Brunswick, New Jersey, a life was tragically cut short on the evening of March 31, 2025. Brandon Romero Peralta, a 16-year-old male, became the victim of gun violence in an incident that unfolded near the intersection of Lee Avenue and Rutgers Street. The New Brunswick Police Department received a report of a shooting at approximately 6:26 P.M. and upon arrival at the scene, they discovered the young man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
