Lekeye Danard Mitchell Jr., a 17-year-old male of African American ethnicity, tragically lost his life on April 20, 2019, in Mesquite, Texas. The incident occurred around 3:30 p.m. in the 1600 block of Bruton Road, where Mitchell was found deceased from an apparent gunshot wound.
