On a summer evening in Newark, New Jersey, tragedy struck 27-year-old Antonio McCrimmon. On Monday, August 16, 2021, at approximately 7:53 p.m., the sound of gunfire shattered the night in the area of Central Avenue and South 9th Street. Responding to reports of shots fired, Newark Police discovered a grim scene. They found McCrimmon in the street, suffering from gunshot wounds.
