In the city of Camden, New Jersey, a young life was abruptly cut short on a Thursday evening. Nineteen-year-old Malik Nath, a male resident of the city, found himself in the wrong place at the wrong time on July 7, 2022. The night was shattered by the sound of gunfire in the 1900 block of South 8th Street, prompting both a ShotSpotter activation and several 9-1-1 calls that drew police to the scene.
