In the late evening of Monday, October 10, 2022, the life of 25-year-old Daveigh Brooks was tragically cut short in Trenton, New Jersey. A former standout track athlete at Burlington City High School and Bloomfield College, Brooks was discovered fatally shot in the driver's seat of a black Ford Fusion. The vehicle was found parked in the middle of Greeley Alley, near the 300 block of Ellis Avenue.
