Narcissa Lee "Tessie" Brown, aged 19, was one of the eight victims of the Hazelwood massacre, a tragic event that took place on June 14, 1971, in Detroit, Michigan. The massacre occurred at a house located at 1970 Hazelwood Street, where all eight victims were shot and killed in the living room of the apartment. This incident is noted as the largest mass murder in Detroit's history.
