In December 2022, Latrina Gilchrist, a 50-year-old woman from Detroit, Michigan, was found deceased in her Palmer Park apartment. The discovery was made on December 8th when police conducted a welfare check after she failed to show up for work. An investigation revealed that she had been shot multiple times. Her death occurred just two days after she celebrated her 50th birthday.
