On December 24, 2014, Christina Samuel, a 22-year-old woman from Detroit, was tragically killed in a shooting. That night, Samuel was with a friend in a parked car on Carlisle Street, near Gratiot Avenue and Eight Mile Road, when two individuals approached them.
