Death by Force

Timothy Schofield, a 21-year-old resident of Belleville, MI, tragically lost his life on October 19, 1978. According to reports, Schofield was one of the victims in a series of violent incidents that occurred in the Ypsilanti area. He and another victim, Troy Curry, 28, of Canton, were found shot in the head and chest. The shootings took place in a bar, and the violence continued shortly after with another fatal shooting and additional injuries at a nearby tool and die shop.
