Samer Taha Abukaff, a 37-year-old resident of Ypsilanti, Michigan, tragically lost his life on January 29, 2017, in Belleville, Michigan. The incident occurred around 5:30 p.m. at an apartment in the 48000 block of Denton. According to reports, Abukaff was involved in an argument that escalated into a physical altercation with Arndola Charles Lewis, a 44-year-old man from Belleville. As Abukaff was leaving the apartment, Lewis allegedly followed him and fatally shot him in the back of the head.
