Robert Baranski, aged 36, was tragically murdered on April 15, 1984, in Kalamazoo, Michigan. His death was part of a series of violent crimes committed by Richard Clarey, a convicted murderer and self-confessed serial killer. Clarey, who had a troubled past marked by drug abuse and a history of criminal activities, was paroled from the Kalamazoo Correctional Center on January 3, 1984.
