Travontae Brown, a 23-year-old resident of Kalamazoo, Michigan, tragically lost his life on May 14, 2020, due to a shooting incident. The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety reported that the shooting occurred in the 1400 block of Princeton Avenue, near Bessie Street, in Kalamazoo's North Side neighborhood. Officers who were nearby heard the gunshots and responded quickly to the scene.
