Mary Westrick Brownell, a 40-year-old female, died on October 21, 2006, in her Ceresco, Michigan, home in a violent encounter that also claimed the life of her fiancé, Lawrence Edward Allen, who was 52. The tragic events unfolded when Mary's ex-husband, Timothy Vaughn Brownell, arrived at the residence.
