Meagan Erin Soik, a 21-year-old resident of Alpena, Michigan, tragically lost her life on October 15, 2020. The incident occurred at a home on Ford Avenue and was later determined to be a murder-suicide. According to police reports, Elifonso “Eli” Mata II, aged 26, fatally shot Meagan Soik before turning the weapon on himself.
