Catherine Solinski-Blain, a 21-year-old woman from Waterford Township, Michigan, was tragically shot to death on October 15, 2008, just before 11 p.m. She was leaving her workplace, the Rib Rack restaurant in Lathrup Village, when the incident occurred. Catherine, a 2005 graduate of Waterford Mott High School, was found in her car with a gunshot wound to her head. Despite being transported to Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, she succumbed to her injuries a few hours later.
