In the quiet, rural landscape of Weleetka, Oklahoma, a horrific crime shattered the community's sense of peace. On the afternoon of June 8, 2008, the bodies of two young friends, 11-year-old Skyla Jade Whitaker and 13-year-old Taylor Dawn Paschal-Placker, were discovered on a dirt road.
