On a summer afternoon in Weleetka, Oklahoma, the lives of two young friends were tragically cut short. Thirteen-year-old Taylor Dawn Paschal-Placker and her eleven-year-old friend, Skyla Whitaker, were walking along a rural dirt road on June 8, 2008, when they were brutally murdered.
