Wendy Schirrick, aged 54, tragically died on November 24, 2014, in Southgate, Michigan, in what was determined to be a murder-suicide. The incident occurred at Downriver Gymnastics, where Wendy worked as an office employee. On that fateful morning, her estranged husband, Paul Schirrick, entered the facility and fatally shot Wendy before turning the gun on himself. The couple was in the midst of divorce proceedings, which is believed to have been a contributing factor to the tragic event.
