Death by Force

Asia McGowan, a 20-year-old aspiring actress and dancer from Ecorse, Michigan, was tragically killed on April 10, 2009, in a murder-suicide at Henry Ford Community College in Dearborn, Michigan. McGowan was shot by Anthony Powell, a 28-year-old fellow student from Detroit, inside Room No. F-111 of the college’s MacKenzie Fine Arts Center. Powell then turned the shotgun on himself, ending his own life.
