In July of 2013, the life of 20-year-old Brenna Kathleen Machus was tragically cut short in Dearborn, Michigan. A dedicated assistant manager at a local Family Dollar store, she was working alongside her 20-year-old co-worker, Joseph Orlando, on the evening of July 15th. What began as a regular workday ended in a horrifying sequence of events that would leave a community in shock and two families devastated.
