Aarie Renee Berry, a three-year-old girl from Detroit, Michigan, tragically lost her life on July 10, 2011. Aarie was fatally shot by a stray bullet while inside her home on Canton Street. The incident occurred as a result of a violent altercation between neighbors, which escalated into a shooting. During the confrontation, multiple shots were fired, and one of the bullets penetrated the wall of Aarie's home, striking her in the head.
