In the summer of 2011, a senseless act of violence tragically cut short the life of a three-year-old girl named Aarie Renee Berry in Detroit, Michigan. On July 10th, what should have been an ordinary day for the toddler turned into a nightmare when a dispute between neighbors escalated into gunfire outside her family's home on Canton Street.
