Sharon Brown, aged 20, was one of the victims of the tragic Hazelwood massacre that occurred on June 14, 1971, in Detroit, Michigan. This incident is known as the largest mass murder in Detroit's history. On that fateful day, eight individuals were shot and killed in a house on Hazelwood Street. The victims, including Sharon Brown, were all African-American.
