Annetta Nelson, a 57-year-old woman from Detroit, was found deceased on February 26, 2018, in a vacant house on Winthrop Street. Her body was discovered by a man who entered the abandoned property and found her lying facedown on the floor with visible blood on her face. Authorities later confirmed that Nelson had died from blunt force trauma, ruling her death a homicide.
