Gloria Wright, a resident of Detroit, Michigan, tragically lost her life on December 8, 2014. The incident occurred at her home on the west side of Detroit, specifically in the 15000 block of Parkside Street, between Linwood and Dexter. On that fateful evening, between 9 and 10 p.m., Gloria went to answer a knock at her door. As she opened the door, an unknown assailant began firing, fatally wounding her. This brutal act left her family and the community in shock and mourning.
