Patrick E. Hill, a dedicated police officer with the Detroit Police Department, tragically lost his life due to an accidental gunshot wound sustained during a high-speed pursuit of a murder suspect on April 2, 2013. Officer Hill, who was 37 years old at the time, was involved in a chase that ended at the intersection of Linwood and Hooker Street in Detroit.
