On January 2, 2019, the life of 28-year-old Zonte Cade, a Black/African American father of two from Detroit, Michigan, was tragically cut short. The day began with a routine act of fatherhood as Cade dropped off his 4-year-old son at a friend's house before heading out to run an errand.
