JaColby Brown, a 20-year-old from Muskegon, Michigan, tragically lost his life on September 22, 2013, in a shooting incident outside the Elk's Charity Lodge in Muskegon. The incident occurred during a memorial party for Julius Johnson, who had been killed by police a few years earlier. The party, intended to raise funds for a proper grave marker for Johnson, turned violent when uninvited individuals began showing up.
