In the early morning hours of September 26, 2017, the life of 28-year-old Curtis Lee Brown Jr. was tragically cut short in Muskegon Heights, Michigan. Authorities reported that the male victim was shot around 3 a.m.. It wasn't until later that a passerby discovered him in a front yard on Howell Avenue and alerted the police. Upon their arrival, officers found Brown suffering from a single gunshot wound to his shoulder, inflicted by what investigators believe was a small-caliber handgun.
