Jamel's grandmother, 53-year-old Patricia Johnson, and his grandfather, 55-year-old Harvey Witcher, faced charges of involuntary manslaughter. Also charged was 66-year-old Robert B. Richardson, Johnson's estranged husband, who was present in the home at the time of the shooting.
