In the summer of 2012, what began as a trip into Detroit for 17-year-old Jourdan Michael Bobbish and his 18-year-old friend, Jacob Kudla, ended in a horrifying act of violence that cut their young lives short. The two white American teenagers from Westland were last seen on July 22, 2012. A frantic search ensued after they failed to return home, but the grim discovery of their bodies five days later in a desolate field on Detroit's east side confirmed the worst fears of their families.
