In the late summer of 2017, the life of Ahmed Al-Akoubi, a 24-year-old male, was tragically cut short in Detroit, Michigan. On August 28, 2017, his body was discovered abandoned in an alley along the Southfield Freeway on the city's west side. The circumstances of the discovery immediately pointed towards a violent end, prompting the Detroit Police Department to launch a homicide investigation into his death.
