On August 19, 2023, eight-year-old Shawntaze "Cameron" Moore tragically lost his life due to an accidental shooting at his home on Ward Avenue in Detroit, Michigan. The incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. when Cameron accessed an unsecured firearm, resulting in a fatal self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.
