In a quiet Woodhaven apartment complex, a devastating scene unfolded, leaving a family shattered and a community in shock. Ten-year-old Christopher Balzer, a fourth-grade student at Garfield Elementary School, was found deceased in what authorities would later describe as a tragic double murder-suicide.
