Death by Force

Eric Young, a 17-year-old high school student, was shot and killed on the morning of October 8, 2014, while on his way to school in Pittsburgh's Hill District. The incident occurred as Eric left his home on Morgan Street alongside his mother. He was shot three times at around 7:15 a.m. Despite efforts by his mother to revive him, Eric died in front of their house. Emergency services responded shortly after, but it was too late to save him.
