Maurice Freeman, a 21-year-old male of African American ethnicity, tragically lost his life on August 1, 2014, in Pittsburgh, PA. He was fatally shot in the Northview Heights neighborhood around 1 a.m. while walking home from a basketball game. According to the Allegheny County Medical Examiner's Office, Maurice died from multiple gunshot wounds.
The investigation into Maurice's death revealed that Paul Kendrick, a 20-year-old male from Northview Heights, was responsible for the shooting.
