On September 1, 2023, Antonia Jenkins, a 27-year-old resident of Detroit, Michigan, was tragically shot and killed while sitting in her vehicle. The incident occurred around 11:35 PM at the intersection of Joy Road and Lawton Street. Upon arrival at the scene, police found Jenkins in the driver's seat suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. Despite the efforts of emergency responders, she was pronounced dead at the scene.
