On a summer morning in 2013, the body of 31-year-old Lamond Ford, a male resident of Detroit, was discovered in a vacant field on the city's west side. The father of two had been brutally beaten and shot in what authorities believe was a robbery. The grim discovery was made on August 3rd in the area of Longacre Street and Diversey Avenue, near the Southfield Freeway.
