On December 4, 2012, Jason Koester, aged 28, was found murdered in Detroit, Michigan, in an incident that left the community in shock. Koester, along with three others—Dyrelle Davis, Janetta Harris, and Shawn Bender—was shot execution-style at a home on Detroit's east side.
