On a cold December evening in Detroit, a house on Tacoma Street became the scene of a brutal crime that claimed the life of 28-year-old Jason Koester and three others. On December 4, 2012, Koester, along with Dyrelle Davis, 34, Janetta Harris, 22, and 16-year-old Shawn Bender, were found shot to death inside the residence in what police described as an execution-style slaying. The discovery sent shockwaves through the community and left four families grappling with an unimaginable loss.
