Steven Shelby, a 41-year-old man originally from Florida, was found dead on January 20, 2022, in Detroit, Michigan. Shelby had recently moved to Detroit in search of new opportunities and a fresh start. His body was discovered by a realtor in an abandoned and dilapidated building on Detroit's west side. The gruesome discovery revealed that Shelby had been shot multiple times, wrapped in duct tape, and left among the garbage inside the vacant property.
