Johnny Clyburn, a 41-year-old Air Force staff sergeant, tragically lost his life on May 27, 2014, in Detroit, Michigan. The incident occurred early in the morning at a home on Detroit's east side, where Clyburn was fatally shot by his 19-year-old stepson, Antonio Hicks. According to reports, the shooting happened around 7:30 a.m. when Clyburn had just returned home from an overnight shift.
