In the summer of 2014, the life of 17-year-old Richard 'Ricky' Pruitt was tragically cut short in Lansing, Michigan. On the night of August 16th, Richard, a young male, was inside his family's townhouse on South Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard when a single gunshot, fired from outside the residence, struck him. At the time of the incident, four other people were present in the home, none of whom were injured.
