In the early hours of a cool autumn morning in Detroit, Michigan, the life of 24-year-old Curtis Louis Goodman Jr. was tragically cut short. On October 25, 2014, the young man, known to be a diligent worker and an avid basketball enthusiast, was fatally shot following a rare night out to celebrate a birthday. Goodman, a Black/African American male, was employed at Chrysler and was remembered by his family as a mild-mannered and beloved individual who was the man of his family.
