In the early hours of a cool autumn morning in Detroit, Michigan, the life of 24-year-old Curtis Louis Goodman Jr. was tragically cut short. On October 25, 2014, the young man, known to be a diligent worker and an avid basketball enthusiast, was fatally shot following a rare night out to celebrate a birthday.
